Applying Questions

Can I still apply after the deadline of my programs has passed?

No. Deadlines for the programs are fixed.

Do I need an email account to apply for a CHCI program?

Yes. You will need an e-mail account to complete the application and receive verification and notification e-mails. Please remember to remove apply@chci.org from any spam-blocking software.

How can I know that my application is received by CHCI?

Your application account will display the status of your application as it undergoes processing.

How do I apply to a CHCI program?

Applications for all of the programs offered by CHCI are available online. CHCI does not accept paper applications. Letters of recommendation and other required materials can be uploaded to the application site.

Is there a fee to apply?

There are no fees to apply to CHCI programs.

What should I do if I am experiencing technical difficulties on the CHCI application website?

If you are experiencing problems with the online application, please call CHCI at (202) 543-1771 or e-mail your concerns to apply@chci.org. Please remember to remove apply@chci.org from any spam-blocking software.

When are applications available?

Upon completion of the profile portion of the application process, you will be shown all programs for which you are eligible at that time. Active and open programs will be accessible online.
