What should I do if the system is stating my Social Security number is already in use?


There are two reasons why the system is prompting you with that message. 

1) Chances are you previously created an account and the system does not want to have 2 applications per applicant (social security serves as a unique identifier). 

2) You may have input your social security number incorrectly.
